The Blue Knights® have approximately 650 chapters representing 11 conferences in 29 countries, with close to 19,000 members!
New York’s Chapter VII is one of 28 chapters in the state of New York. We represent the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn in the City of New York.
1. Be an active full or part time law enforcement officer with powers of arrest
2. Be employed by a governmental agency and receive monetary compensation, or be a retired or disabled former law enforcement officer
3. Possess a valid license to operate a motorcycle
4. Own a motorcycle or plan to purchase one within six months
Blue Knights ® Ride with Pride”, and are well known and respected throughout the motorcycle community for their reputation as credentialed active and retired law enforcement officers, and their commitment to rider safety and fun. The camaraderie we share is unique and comes from decades of being in our chosen profession.
We ride for the wind, we ride for the adventure. At times, we ride out of respect, and in memory of those who have ridden ahead. No matter why we saddle up, we ride as brothers and sisters in blue.
